We take your privacy very seriously. LiveLink will only use your personal information in accordance with the terms of our privacy policy. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and accepted the terms of our app privacy policy.

Disclaimer / Liability

LiveLink will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), under statute or otherwise, as a result of or in connection with the App, for any: (i) economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or (ii) loss of goodwill or reputation; or (iii) special or indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as excluding or limiting the liability of LiveLink or its group companies for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for any other liability which cannot be excluded by English law.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

If any provision(s) of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, then such provision(s) shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties (as reflected in the provision(s)) and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

LiveLink's failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to by LiveLink in writing.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, nothing in the Terms shall create any rights or any other benefits whether pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise in favour of any person other than you, LiveLink and its group of companies.

Information that we collect

When you visit the platform as a Creator, you may also be asked to upload personal identification documents about yourself, such as a driving license, passport, or Disclosure and Barring check, and may be asked to provide personal banking details.

When you visit the platform or purchase a live through the platfom, you may be asked to provide information about yourself including your name, address, and contact details.

When you request a live from a Creator, we may ask for your payment information, such as credit or debit card information.

We may also collect information about your usage of the platform and information about you from the messages you post on the platform, including but not limited to messages your send to a Creator, files you upload, and your communications with us via email and SMS.

We collect technical data about your use of the Website, including the device and browser that you are using, your IP address, your time on the Website and the pages that you have visited.

We may ask for your payment information, such as debit or credit card details. All payment card information is handled by a third party. We do not handle any payment card information ourselves, and are not PCI compliant.

Information provided voluntarily by you. For example, when you register for information or book a live, communicate through the site, or when you contact us by email or telephone.

Technical information used to identify you, such as login information, your IP address and the browser used to access the site.

We also work closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies) and may receive information about you from them.

All payment card information is handled by a third party. We do not handle any payment card information ourselves, and are not PCI compliant.

Information about your use of our site including details of your visits such as pages viewed and the resources that you access. Such information includes traffic data, location data and other communication data.

How we use your data

  • Your information will enable us to provide you with access to the relevant parts of the platform and to supply the services you have requested.
  • If you are a User, we will use this data to put you in touch with the Creator you have contacted, and up to 15 other Creators that may be able to help with your tuition request. The information will also enable us to bill you for lives you have completed, and contact your where necessary concerning our services.
  • If you are a Creator, your Identity documents will allow us to comply with Know Your Customer legislation, Recruitment Agency legislation, and your bank details will allow us to pay you for lives you have completed.
  • Your platform use and messaging history will allow us to provide you access to your communications history with Creators, and help us to settle any disputes that may arise.
  • If you have completed an online live either as a Creator or a User, we may record the live so that you may view it later. In addition, we store live recordings to help with child safeguarding.

Where you have indicated accordingly, you agree that we may use your information to let you know about our other products and services that may be of interest to you including services that may be the subject of direct marketing and we may contact you to do so by post, telephone, SMS or e-mail.

  • to notify you about changes to our service;
  • to help us communicate with you effectively should you try to contact us via the site, including verification of any claims you may make;
  • to ensure that content from the site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer or device;

If you do not want us to use your data in this way or change your mind about being contacted in the future, please let us know by contacting us on support@livelink.vip.

We may retain personal data from closed accounts for a maximum of 7 years in order to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms and conditions, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, and assist with any investigations and take other actions as permitted by law.

  • to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us and to provide you with the information, products and/or services that you request from us;
  • to administer the site and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;
  • to improve the site and to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer or device;
  • to allow you to participate in any interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so;
  • to provide information to you relating to other products that may be of interest to you. Such additional information will only be provided where you have consented to receive such information;
  • to inform you of any changes to our website, services or goods and products.

We may combine information we receive from other sources with information you give to us and information we collect about you. We may use this information and the combined information for the purposes set out above (depending on the types of information we receive).

We never give your details to third parties to use your data to enable them to provide you with information regarding unrelated goods or services.

Security and Storing Your Personal Data

We take protecting your data seriously and take steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction and damage.

In operating our platform it may become necessary to store and transfer data that we collect from you to locations outside of the European Union for processing and storing. By providing your personal data to us, you agree to this transfer, storing and processing. We do our utmost to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to make sure that your data is stored securely. We will ensure that your personal information receives an adequate level of protection and is treated by third parties in a way that is consistent with and which respects the EU and UK laws on data protection.

Unfortunately, the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically, sending such information is entirely at your own risk.

To ensure that all new features and changes to our service adhere to GDPR requirements we follow a design by data protection by design and default approach to all development of our Website and service. This includes submitting Privacy Impact Assessments to the ICO as needed.

Data retention

We will keep your information for 6 years from the last date on which you have been active on our Website. Data will not be kept for longer than is necessary and in-line with relevant legislation.

We may retain records where necessary to fulfil our regulatory or statutory duties.

We will not disclose your personal information to any other party other than in accordance with this Privacy Policy and in the circumstances detailed below:

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests.

If we make any material changes to our policies, we will place a prominent notice on our website or application.
